Shipping with blanking covers, the end-user is able to purchase one of five different plates that allow for mounting of all of the most popular optic variants on the market today. Proudly built in the USA, the new 92X RDO continues the evolution of an iconic series. Launched in September of last year, the Beretta 92X RDO aims for top performance ideal for competitive dynamic shooting and defensive purposes with a red-dot optic ready slide, a short reset trigger, and aggressively textured 92X-style thin grips for instinctive control and a more natural fit for all shooters. You’re also paying $300-400 less, so if that’s where you find your budget, the 92x would certainly work.Beretta has announced the launch of an additional size configuration for the new 92X RDO pistol family - the 92X RDO Compact. They are still nice, mind you, but they are not nearly on the level of the first houses you saw on that street. Then you drive on down that street a couple miles and the houses start to get noticeably less nice. It’s like when you pull into a really nice neighborhood and see this huge, awesome house. I forget the weights but it was about 6 ounces heavier than the EDC X9.Īs to the 92X, I haven’t shot one but I’ve dry fired it and the trigger is much improved over a stock Beretta, and it’s in the neighborhood of the LTT trigger, but not quite there. I carry mine IWB in a JMCK holster when I’m not carrying my EDC X9 and it carries surprisingly well. Have not had my hands on a compact, but I have large hands and barely fit on the full size grip so I don’t think the compact would work well for me. I have a full size LTT Beretta and the trigger is ridiculously good. I have handled the 92 X but not shot one so interested to hear from those that have. I was a huge fan of the G model being decocker only that was something I never like about the 92- that safety. ĭont skimp get the top package if you buy one I like the look of the Wilson products but I think Langdon does Berretta better he trained Wilsons guys on tuning them. My full size double action is night and day better that is one awesome pistol. I didnt realize they had different levels at the time and I bought the lower tier model - dont do that lol. The langdon compact well lets just say I didnt like the double action on it wasnt very good to be honest. No problem with function on any of the above the WC was a higher round count pistol and it ran well. I still carry a 1911 daily couldnt fall in love with the Beretta - like the way they look and shoot but it is a wider pistol and harder to conceal for me Now I have a full size 92 Langdon elite for range toy and the double action is amazing ! ![]() I had a Langdon 92 compact with rail it was nice but still a larger firearm and I sold it carried them both IWB via Milt sparks holster never really got on with this one wanted to love it loved the way it looked but just wasnt for me ![]() It was nice but front sight wasnt great so I sold it, action was awesome and they are now collectable I had a wilson beretta compact 92 no rail ![]()
